My work flows from the realization that feeding, housing, clothing and educating everyone; sharing the simple freedom to possess our own persons and to express our full creative potential; and living in balance with the planet’s ecosystems - is a viable option for the world now, and a necessity if we are to thrive. We do not face an impossible future. We face an unprecedented opportunity for almost unlimited wellbeing for everyone if we choose as individuals to undertake the learning and the changes we must accomplish to rise to this incredible moment in history. The focus of my work is to shift enterprise from provisioning the world for extraction to provisioning the world for thriving, and to shift communities from being organized to export wealth to self-organizing to produce wealth locally. This work is mainly individual, accomplished in our own living, in our organizations, each day starting exactly from where we stand right now, learning-forward into how to do this together.
